Samer Nour Eddine, Trevor Brothers, Lin Wang, Mike Spratling, and Gina Kuperberg have had their paper, “A predictive coding model of the N400” accepted for publication in Cognition. It’s the first implemented predictive coding model of the N400, and it explains (1) the N400's functional sensitivity to lexical variables, priming, and context; (2) its temporal dynamics; and (3) Provides a biologically plausible link to neural activity.
