Welcome to Apoorva Vallampati!

Welcome to Apoorva Vallampati, who is joining our lab as a new PhD student in the Cognitive Science Program. Apoorva earned her BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2020. During her time at Ohio State, she completed her undergraduate thesis exploring semantic networks in children versus adults at the OSU Cognitive Development Lab under the advisement of Dr. Vladimir Sloutsky. As a member of the Neurocognition of Language Lab, Apoorva looks forward to leveraging neuroimaging techniques to learn more about the intersection of psychiatric disorders and linguistic processing.
